Call was an attempt to obtain my mailing address, caller had a first name and last 4 digits of a debit card. Clear attempt at phishing. Told me I was a preferred customer, that this was an order confirmation, and that a 125 dollar gas card would be sent out. CLEAR SCAM! I have not ordered anything in months online. This was a legitimate call from Thoroughbred Research. They were calling to follow up on a call I had made to the gas company regarding a gas emergency. They asked me if I would voluntarily do a survey based upon the customer service I received. They were very courteous and it took only 10 or 15 minutes, and I wanted to give the feedback. They called two times about three hours apart, once from this number and once from a different one. I wasn't home the first time.

Said I owed a payday loan which I have no record of getting. He has zero legal documents and could not even verify the date of the loan.

Phones rings with Toll Free on the caller id. The strange thing is the time of these calls - anywhere from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM. Never a message & as soon as voice mail starts they hang up. Strange

The person calling said they were from the Drug Enforcement Agency, and I was being investigated for a precription drug ring...Hahaha!! What they do is try to get you to pay them over the phone so you don't get in trouble. It's a scam!

Called me and my fiance on different numbers. Left message for us to call a different number and ask for someone, then they try to scam us. Telling us they are from the FID (not a real agency.). Then they try to get us to give them our name and number. These people change their names and numbers constantly. Very heavy accents. DO NOT give them any personal information, they will try to steal your identity!! Called the Houston police about them,making a report tonight!!
